Of all the properties in the Holiday Inn Express chain, this one rises to the top as the best of the best. Friday night check-in's can tax anyones patience. The staff at Hudson make it painless. Booked in Hudson WI because the price was right for our budget. Turned out the location for a fall visit to the St. Croix valley could not have been better. My husband and I stayed two nights and were very pleased with the quality of these rooms. We did ask for a suite with a jacuzzi which is larger than an average room. While our house was being worked on - we stayed for 5 days in the non-smoking king suite. It was very nice, clean and stylish. It had a microwave and refrigerator and small kitchen bar area.
