We like to stay in bed and breakfasts while we travel and chose this one on our short three-day trip out to western Wisconsin. Four Gables is in a terrific spot, nestled in a valley with bluffs rising all around. The old farmhouse has great character, a nice match to Jerry and Nancy who are wonderful hosts. We didn't get a chance to chat until breakfast, but it appears most people enjoy conversations with Jerry as much as the stay itself! We left feeling... more
As a frequent users of B&Bs the Four Gables is the BEST experience in LaCrosse. Great location, great facility, great operators who treat guests wonderfully. It is THE choice for a pleasant stay in the LaCrosse area. more
