We had a great weekend here. However, Trillium Cottage might consider updating it's website, as we found some information misleading, which might have changed our lodging plans.
“Breakfast is a favorite part of the Trillium experience. It features homemade breads and local dairy products... All are brought to each private guest cottage in a covered basket for guests to enjoy along with local cheeses, butter, farm eggs, milk, fresh fruits, cereals, juices and other tasty morning treats.”
- The baked items were good, but little was done re: our request for whole grain. There were no cheeses, fresh fruits, or cereals.
“There are acres of woods and fields to explore in any season. While strolling over the hills, much wildlife can be observed.”
- While this is true, we found we really could not hike or walk on much of the property as suggested above. The overgrowth of vegetation prevented us from straying from the main roads and even seeing much of the property...
