This hotel was reasonable but the staff weren't as approachable as in other hotels we've stayed in. The breakfast was adequate and not memorable in any other way. The room was comfortable and clean. It was pretty average, really. I wouldn't say don't go there but I would advise you to know the area well as the staff weren't too... more

This hotel, formerly the Inn on Maritime Bay, is a pretty standard hotel. The decent sized room is clean. Some rooms view the lake while others see the parking lot or the indoor pool. The rooms are quiet, too. The night we stayed the hotel was sold out and we didn't hear a peep from the hallway or neighboring rooms.... more

What can you say, there is a Holiday Inn, Days Inn and several other low scale dives in and around Manitowoc. This is the better, plus a view and easy access to "downtown" Clean all around, quiet and all with lake front view. A/C is loud, open windows with lake breeze is the best. Rooms offer what they are designed... more

Stayed for Labor Day weekend, just a short getaway. Hotel rooms are smaller but clean. Downside: No balconies and windows do not open. Not good for being on the lake. There was a conference of magicians while we were there. Made for good bar fun. Staff was excellent. Missy (bartender) was great. Dinner menu was awesome, Lunch was good Nice... more

We stayed at this hotel because my now husband grew up in the area and we were having our wedding reception there. Little did we know it was going to end up as one of the worst experiences of our lives! The hotel itself was ok. It overall seemed out dated and unmaintatined. Tiles missing from the entry ways, etc.... more

We were there for two days, comuting to Oshkosh for Airventure. Nice, large room, no separation in the suite, but comfortable, nice bathroom, didn't try the pool, but it looked inviting, with its glass ceiling! Only a few minutes away from the Badger's point of arrival. We were in a bit of a hurry, so the fact that there was... more

We stayed two nights at the Lakefront Hotel. It is a 3 story hotel with an elevator. The hotel was clean with a newer carpet in our room - 159. At the front desk are complementary USA Today papers, coffee, fruit and granola bars. The towels in the rooms do need an upgrade as they are not very plush. We... more

There was a time when the Inn on Maritime Bay (what the hotel was called before it was purchased by Best Western) was the best hotel in Manitowoc. That day has passed. The rooms were small, and fairly clean. The towels were paper thin, as were the walls. But, the hotel was fairly empty when I was there, so it... more

We arrived in Manitowoc via the SS Badger from Michigan. We picked this property because it is the closest hotel to the dock. We were traveling with bikes but no car. We used the hotel shuttle when we arrived. Upon arrival we discovered there was a problem with our guaranteed reservation. We reserved their king size suite for two days,... more

Stayed here June 22 to wait for the car ferry across Lake Michigan. We had a free night with Best Western. Room was clean. Restaurant was fine. Staff were courteous and helpful. Nice view of the lake. more
