Musky Point Resort on Lake of the Falls in Mercer WI should be avoided at all costs. Our family had been staying at another location on Lake of the Falls for three years but felt a change might be fun. No real red flags until we arrived during the posted arrival times for check in. The female owner was very put-out because we arrived during their late lunch. We offered to take a drive and return in a bit but no we had apparently already ruined her lunch. We received a short tour of the grounds mostly informing us of what we were not allowed to do. Make no mistake we respect the fact there are always rules but we were talked to like a bunch of spring breakers there to destroy the place. My 82 year old mother had no criminal record but we all seemed guilty of past horrible acts in this owners eyes. Even the three pre-teens in our party were not spared.
