This hotel is a great deal, cost-wise (about 1/3rd the cost of The Point). It is in the center of Minocqua and you can walk to many good restaurants. They have hard boiled eggs at the free breakfast and waffles with real maple syrup. They also have a hot tub and pool.

Don't bother making any effort to stay here. It's dirty, cigarette burns EVERYWHERE, no elevator, pool table "out of order" for at least a month, the hot tub bubblers were "out of order". Stayed for one night. 2 floors with no elevator to 2nd floor. Had to drag luggage up stairs. Rooms are fairly clean. Breakfast was included, standard continental. Lots of families with young children. Not much going on in the town, unless you are there for boating and fishing, then you're all set.
