Sills B&B in Minocqua is a gem. The owners, Ron & Lori Sills cannot do enough for you and really want you to enjoy your stay. My wife and I have been going to Sills two and three times a year ever since the Lakeview Motor Lodge was torn down in 2004.

The facilities are an upstairs traditional B&B room in the owners home, or the cozy Guest House, or the larger Hill House. Your stay can be booked as a B&B or as a resort. Breakfast (excellent) comes with the B&B, but not with the resort plan. They have five piers right on the lake so you can bring your own boat, or rent their pontoon boat or ski boat. There is also a small sand beach.

I use a cane, and it is still in walking distance of downtown for me. The B&B is about 100 feet from the hiking trail, and has its own parking. It is easy to get to. It is a block west of the Minocqua Brewery Restaurant.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. more
