This is where you want to stay for a wonderful weekend skiing in the UP. I have stayed here many many times with my family and my boyfriend. Ironwood is the place to go for the winter since they almost always have snow. When you stay here you don't have to worry about drunken snowmobilers like you would at some of the hotels in Hurley and Ironwood. The breakfast is wonderful and the home is beautiful. It's also a nice place to stay in all seasons and enjoy Lake Superior. The owners are very welcoming. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my ski weekends to the UP.
