We had a very nice stay, the rooms were clean, very comfortable beds and spacious, the Olympic size pool was a lot of fun. The good: Clean bathroom and relatively effecient check-in/out, would be beautifully retro/architecturally important with the right owners . Perhaps I should have checked here first for reviews! It hasn't changed since the reviewer in August 2005 described it with weeds all over the parking lot, flowers and greenery have not been tended to for some time. When we checked in we were advised that the air conditioning wasn't working but would be fixed within a couple of hours.... more

Dont let the photos of this place fool you. There isn't any water near this place. When my wife and I pulled into the parking lot we weren't sure if it was even open. Talk about stepping off of a time machine. This place couldn't be cheesier in its Jetson's era decor. I fully expected Dean Martin to be working the lounge. The website for this hotel is quite decieving, especially the picture that shows rolling hills with a water view. The only water we saw was a moldy pool enclosure with cloudy windows... more

Be sure to ask for a more updated room in the front. We were able to fit two rollaways for the kids in our room. Clean with an 80's look. Very large indoor heated pool-would be a great getaway for the winter also. Town of Trolls is fun and only short drive to House on the Rock. more
