We were in town for a family reunion. We arrived at 10 pm to a room with a toilet that would not stop running. The valve had been removed, so we couldn't turn off the water. The desk clerk had no clue but gave us a pair of pliers to try to turn off the water. We ended up jamming the pliers in the tank to hold up the ball. Fixed, but not useable that night.
The day crew were much better than the night clerk (go figure). They promptly had things fixed AND moved us to another room that was in a quieter part of the hotel because, they told us, there was going to be a wedding party staying at the motel that night. Very considerate of them. The new room was quiet and comfortable. And the toilet worked.
I rate this one as below average for AmericInn because it is older and less well-appointed than most. I'd say it compares with Super 8. Breakfast was a bit skimpy and hurt by a very small area.
Rooms were older with less than great HVAC...
