Our family group rented two lakeside cabins (#1-2) for an August weekend. West Bay was one of the few options that had some expanded facilities and still had 2-night rentals available when we checked in April. Website (westbaycampingresort.com) and communication were good. All in all, we had a good time of the old-time northwoods cabin variety. We liked the location, layout, and reasonable amount of available amenities and thought the cabins were OK for the price ($120/nt).

The resort has spaces for RVs and tent camping apart from the cabin/cottage areas, and we never were impacted by the other area's noises, sights, or smells. Even the two other "uphill" cabins are set apart from the other camping areas.
