We recently stayed at the Brownstone Inn to celebrate our 9th Anniversary. We have stayed at many B&B's in the past but this was by far our best experience. This is a beautiful, three story inn located just 4 blocks from the great lakes. The home has been in the owner's family for three generations and upon entering, we immediately noticed the positive energy emitted by this home. We were greeted by Linda, who was very warm and friendly and gave us a wonderful historical tour of the entire inn. The weekend we stayed, there was only one other couple that arrived late so we had the run of the house. Every vacant guest room was left open. We enjoyed playing pool in the lower level billiard room and I played the piano to an imaginary crowd in the 3rd floor Grand Ballroom. We stayed in Gertrude and Carita's Suite.
