A last minute reservation wonderfully welcomed by hosts. Beautiful room, fireplace, hot tub, comfy bed and fluffy soft towels. Delicious breakfasts! Bottomless plate of homemade cookies welcoming you at the main entrance.....cranberry/oatmeal #1 (I think I ate 6 or 7 big cookies myself!). We celebrated a Birthday and were suprised with a wonderful gift from our hosts. Had a great... More

We were very happy with our stay at Colonial Gardens B&B. We brought my daughter and son-in-law with us, and stayed for one night. We stayed in the Quiet Rose Room, with a king bed and fireplace and large, updated bathroom with nice shower. My daughter stayed in Anna's Suite, which was quite a bit larger, with a queen bed,... We stayed here for three nights here recently. it is only two or so blocks from the main shopping and restaurant area in Sturgeon Bay - an easy walk. Rooms were large and the one one we had had a fireplace and hot tub. The room was supposed to have a view of the water but that was obscured by... More

Stayed two nights and found the experience most enjoyable. The physical plant is showing it's age and some mechanical and cosmetic work is needed Though not very friendly to older or handicapped guests, nothing else can be placed in a negative light. Food was very good and delvered according to your schedule. A bit on the pricey side, but my... More

We traveled to Door County with friends for four days of bicycle riding and golf. It's a trip we plan every year to different spots in the Midwest, always staying at B&B's. Colonial Garden exceeded our expectations in every way. The innkeepers were very friendly and accomodating. Service was great and there were always fresh cookies on a plate in... More

I understand marketing and making your place sound good. But I don't understand this. On the B&B web page, it says "Before strolling through the nearby gift shops and stores, enjoy a full breakfast on your porch overlooking the sparkling waters of Sturgeon Bay." Sparking waters of Sturgeon Bay? Hmmm, all you can see is the ship yard and yacht... More

This is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the bottom portion of Door County! The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy. We stayed in the Anna's suite which has a private entrance and a big beautiful deck outside of the room. There is a large jacuzzi tub in the room which was wonderful! The only downside is... More
