This is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the bottom portion of Door County! The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy. We recently stayed at the Colonial Gardens and found out they have new owners! Very personable, easy to talk to and very helpful. The room was very clean (The Blue Parlor Suite), and spacious. The suite has a private entrance from outside! The bed is amazingly comfortable and provided for a well rested nights sleep. The whirlpool easily fits two!... more

We stayed two nights at the Colonial Gardens and our room (Anna's Suite) was on the 2nd floor with a nice view of the bay (although it was dominated by boat yards) and we appreciated the separate entrance/exit onto the wide porch over the entrance to the home. The room we stayed in (Leathem's Suite) was very nice inside. It had two large rooms, nice sized bathroom and big jaccuzi tub in the living room. The view from the room was not so good. The windows of the rooms overlooked the driveway. Not scenic at all. The breakfast was terrible. Both days we received a soggy breakfast casserole.... more
