The hosts were a delightful couple, there was a nice landscaped yard and sitting area, and was close to the bike trail. Our room, however, turned out to be their bedroom off the kitchen so we didn't get the feel of a real B&B like others might have whose rooms were upstairs. While Tempealeau WI is a very small town.. it is at the gateway of a great bike trail system and sits almost right on the Mississippi. It is beautiful! The Lucas House is a find! You feel and are treated like family.. the rooms are great and even have TV's and phones in them not to mention not one but... more
My 17 year old daughter and I had a delightful stay at the Lucas House. Tom, our friendly host, made us feel very comfortable with offers of refreshments, big screen TV, movies, and advice on places to go in the area.
