On our way to Chicago, (June 11, 2009) my 14 year old son & I decided to stop in the Wisconsin Dells for 1 night. I did a simple search on the internet to find an affordable motel, with clean rooms, a pool, and hot tub. I found the Pine Dell and decided to give it a try. We arrived to find Stella, who I assume to be the owner, as very friendly and accomodating us. We got a very nice, clean room with TV, fridge, & microwave. The outdoor pool was large, warm, & clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were enclosed in a clean knotty pine building. The pool was large, and pleasantly heated. The hot tub was nice and warm, and was just what I needed after a long drive. The location was wonderful. Within walking distance of restaurants and Noah's Ark. The Pine Dell was more than I expected and a great value for someone on a budget. If you love an old fashioned motel experience, with modern amenities, rather than the "mega resort" experience, I would recommend the Pine...
