I loved my stay at this hotel. There were a few issues but none that would deter me from staying again. It is weird that there isn't a desk in the lobby to at least talk to an employee of you need to, instead of having to call and talk to someone. You only get housekeeping if you request it although when we saw the employees cleaning the other rooms, we just asked for the stuff we needed. There's a sign that says quiet time is at a specific time but the hallway is still extremely noisy into the late late hours! The room next to us it sounded like children were jumping off their beds onto the floor at like midnight! There's no carpeting in the rooms we stayed in which made them less sound proof so anytime someone woke up in the night, you could hear the creaks. There is no coffee maker in the room so we brought our own! There's no breaks but there's a coffee shop on the first floor. The hot tub in the indoor water park was not very warm, I feel like the kiddie warming pool was hotter! It sucked that you had to go through the pool to get to the indoor theme park so we never went. It'd be nice if there was an outside entrance to it also. In the pool area there are a lot of kids who aren't being watched and they don't care if they're rude. My 2 year old almost got shoved into the lazy river a couple of times and almost fell downstairs in the kiddie pool area to the slides.
Like I said, none of these would deter me from going again because overall I enjoyed my stay. We had 2- 2 queen, 1 bunk bed conjoining rooms. The beds were super comfy. I love the size of the fridge in the room. I'd love to go back again and stay.

I booked two nights and paid ahead to get 20% off the room, first wrong move, because I did this when we had to leave after one horrible night of no sleep we received NO refund.

Positive part-the room was clean, despite others I like checking in somewhere else to avoid chaos at the hotel lobby. The checkin is literally on your way to the hotel. The Rome building is the place to stay because it’s connected to the water park and arcade. Close to many attractions. The staff was all nice who we spoke with. The free tubing and skiing was for one day and worked well for us. YES you have to pay for ski rental but we did not have to pay for the tubes. The free skiing and tubing is for your lift tickets.

Here comes all the negatives- parking lot at hotel Rome is a mess because of so many people driving to water park from the other buildings. The indoor water park itself is very compact meaning you are on to of each other. It’s cold in there and the towels provided are very small. As people stated you have to pay $10 for a locker so come with the bare minimum. The arcade is a bit expensive but the mini golf and kid rides are all free. If you have young kids great. Now the room, if you want to sleep forgot it! The bed springs you can feel through the sheets, the sheets feel like sandpaper, there are no headboards on our beds so you only have a pillow to block your head from getting hit, and the walls are so thin! We literally had noise coming from the hallway constantly and people walking on our heads the whole night. We had to call the front desk at 9:30 because people were yelling, running up and down the halls and leaving their doors propped open. That is why we said we are not staying a second night. Then the grave disappointed mentioned before that they would give us NO refund but we could get $77 credit for a future stay 🙄 like we want to come back after the misery of this trip. The lady basically said there is nothing the hotel could do. She also said there is no record of me calling the night before. Again, with the number of complaints I have seen from people here and 2 out of my 4 friends who echoed the same experience as us you would think there would be more customer service.

I am going to try and talk to a manager after returning home and getting more sleep. See if they have any respect for customers.

If you want to enjoy a night of sleep here DO NOT stay on the weekend. People are rude and obnoxious.

My rating is during the time of covid lol just to put it in perspective. We're enjoying ourselves in Wisconsin Dells but our time at the resort doesn't feel like a resort. The hours are from 10-6pm which is a real bummer because when we made reservations in February it was with the understanding that the attractions wouldn't close until 10pm. Of course, they said no refunds so here we are. I understand the laws that they can't have indoor facilities open (with the exception of lodging lol) but why cut your customers hours?? The Atlantis motel directly across from hotel Rome remains open past 9pm. Bitter disappointment. And in their main hotel, there's no concierge or service desk to answer guest questions or needs. Just a phone. The outdoor waterpark is cool. The theme park is basic. Basically disappointing. We're traveling with a 3yr old and 7 yr old and there's not much we can do together with regards to the theme park. Not enough rides for the little guys the configuration of the room we're in is corky. Like the bunk beds are a great concept! However, the bottom bunk guest cannot see the television through the stairs/bunk ladder. Not an issue if your kids dont watch TV to bed btw. Everything on the resort is pricey as far as food and beverages are concerned, but we could have guest that. Right? Idk we came here for the resort and spent more time and money off of the resort because of limited hours. I wish we would have been able to get our money back. I'm sure this was better before covid. I'm grateful for Wisconsin dells. Just not sure how much Mt Olympus is responsible for my good time here. Would I come back here for a second chance to see it in its prime? Not unless it were complimentary.

Pros:
Great amusement park/water park
Rides sanitized after EACH use!
Room was nice, updated
Water park/amusement park was not overly crowded

Cons:
Kids accidentally scooted the queen bed in our room over about an inch and the floors were beyond disgusting. Definitely could use a deep clean.

We had rented a cabin the the Dells area for an extended weekend with our kids. We had purchased season passes to another water park, which opted to close the entire weekend we were visiting. Left with little option for a water park, we rented a room at Mt. Olympus. We didn't end up staying in the room, but did use the shower after the water park. Overall, it was a great value with the park passes. The park wasn't overly crowded, and the two day park passes made the cost of the room 100% worth it with our family of 6. Will definitely consider staying here next time we visit as opposed to the way we had planned our trip this time.

Do not book! This is a waste of Money!!! We booked 4 nights in their Hotel Rome (building 1 which is more expensive)and it was terrible! Upon check in, the room was not cleaned. There was dirt and hair in the shower and blood and hair on the towels. They wouldn’t come in and clean the dirty shower so thank goodness I brought my own Clorox wipes to clean the shower. They did give me new towels, but there is NO room service just towel exchange. Other guests would smoke inside the park (even though there are signs saying that they are a smoke free park) and they would smoke inside the hallways (cigarettes and marijuana). When we complained to management, they wouldn’t do anything about it! All they said, was “sorry”.

One of the days it was raining on and off but they closed the park anyways (no T-storms/lightning) and didn’t provide rain checks or late checkouts without charging a late check out fee of $100! So if the weather is raining a little bit, you are stuck in your rooms because their inside attractions are closed. I asked for a late checkout since our room was dirty and we didn’t get park access on the “rainy” day even though we paid for that day but no customer service at all or satisfaction to remedy the issues.

This may sound like a good deal but it’s not worth the money unless you are looking to try to entertain 4 kids in a 400 square foot dirty hotel room for 8 hours if it rains on any of your days with no refunds😡. By the way, they are only open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, so if it rains at all, your time is lost and no refunds. Also, the upper water park is closed and nothing is open inside. So if you are looking to vacation in the ghetto, then this hotel is for you but I will not be coming back!

We vacationed at Mt. Olympus waterpark with family from out of state for 3 days and 2 nights. Never again will I stay at this resort that is truly the waterpark equivalent to Walmart. I was harassed for 2 days by lifeguard Kevin and supervisors only stepped in when I threatened legal action. I have 4 children - the youngest 2 being 3 and less than 1. The morning of our first day, lifeguards informed us that as long as we stayed behind the bend of rocks we would be able to hold our children otherwise they would be required to stand in the wave pool themselves (even if no waves are present). That afternoon Kevin informed us that was not the case and that we would have to be standing on the concrete. However he allowed a family of his same race to hold a newborn and two other small children further in than where we were standing. When questioned why the difference he stated that they had different rules. I requested a lifeguard supervisor and who did inform us that the previous lifeguards were incorrect and Kevin was correct. I informed her if those were the rules than why were there different rules for other families and she assured me the rules would apply to them as well and made Kevin inform them of the rules. The next day I was followed across the waterpark (slides, kiddie area and the wave pool) again by Kevin. Because of the incident the day before I was cautious to ensure I was standing in the appropriate area if I had the need to pick up my child however Kevin harassed me again when my child sat next to me (not one body part was touching). When he claimed that the child was sitting in my lap I asked that he bring another lifeguard or supervisor over to show me how the child was in my lap if we weren’t touching. He also tried saying that when the waves came shortly before that I carried my child however again when I pointed out that my child had walked out of the waves on his own accord without me touching and had video he threatened me stating he would be watching me. I spoke with another lifeguard who acknowledged that she was aware of the animosity Kevin had towards me and had told her to also watch my family. I requested a supervisor to file harassment complaints and after speaking to both of us and other lifeguards Kevin was moved to another location. However during his breaks he continued to walk past our table and stop and glare at us on 3 different occasions. Mt. Olympus and their supervisors did not seem to care about my complaints when I asked to file something formally. While Kevin no longer spoke to me, he was still present and made me and my family feel uncomfortable. Even after the incident he stopped with each lifeguard and pointed out my family. However we did not have another lifeguard stop us stating we were violating their rules. Kevin was a bully and did not appreciate someone sticking up for themselves or their children. I would rather pay more money and stay at a family friendly location that actually cares how their patrons feel and want to give them the best experience than Mt Olympus.

We stayed in building 1 ; The rooms are smaller but equipped with a microwave and fridge, so you can have left overs or bring your own. We enjoyed that all ice machines were working and the attentiveness of security to the quiet time at 11:00. The proximity and room description were accurate.

We were disappointed that there are no coffee pots in the room ( apparently it is a law ) which would have been fine if the coffee bar tht serves star bucks was equipped with the basic star bucks items such as they had no half n half not becuase it was a supply issue, but rather they chose not to carry it.

We would also have liked to have some on site breakfast options, there are basically none - plan to leave out to town for this if you like a hot breakfast.

We were surprised to find our 70% off room basically tripled in price becuase while they say play free apparently they bill those extras into your room. So our room should have been $79 a night but ended up at $130. I called and verified and was verified at check in for the discount but the final bill said that those statements were not true. Despite that we still flt it was a reasonable deal for the 2 night weekend getaway.

I was terribly disappointedin my stay at Mt. Olyympus. From check-in to check out, there was nothing right about this trip.

We went to the park as soon as we were finished checking in because our room was not ready yet. I understand that check-in isnt until 4pm however to literally make us wait until 4:15pm to be texted that the room was ready was quite ridiculous.

Upon leaving the park to try to find the room was a bit of a daunting task as there are so many buldings. When we got to the room and sanitized everything we noticed that there was red spots on one of the sheets. So naturally we called or tried to call as the phone in the room was not working. The hotel's response when we finally got someone on our cellphones, was that they can bring a sheetand we change it ourselves......R U CRAZY!!!!!!! Absolutely not, so after a bit of a wait they did finally send someone. Now lets talk about needing towels, mind you were are staying in one of the larger room so we needed more towels, they bought us a garbage bag full of towels, i was so outdone.

The cleanliness of the room was by far sub-standard. I paid way too much money our stay for it to have turned out the way it did. We as a family have stayed at this resort a couple of times and never have we had an expereince like this. I think i'll try my hand at a diffrent resort the next time we come.

I would give a negative rating if I could. This is definitely not a place to bring your kids to. First, you could smell marijuana as soon as you entered the building. Then, I had to call the front desk over several other families fighting on the floor right outside my door in the hallway. I was told they would send security. When these families were not removed, they started fighting again. These people were cursing, fighting and banging on the walls and our door. So I called the front desk again but received no answer. The fighting got so loud that I gave up on the front desk answering my call and called 911. The eviction process started around 10:30pm and I was not able to finally fall asleep until after midnight because I could still hear people cleaning up the rooms. These walls are paper thin!!! At one point I tried calling the front desk a third time to ask to speak to management so we could be moved to another room, but again, NO ANSWER! We were afraid to even turn on our lights or tv during the altercation in the hallway. I have an autistic son who sat scared to death in the far corner of the room because he was so terrified of what was going on. The next morning, I realized my bathroom floor was filthy. There were hairs in the bottom of the tub. So I had to clean out the shower before I could even use it. And to top it all off, there was no coffee maker. I’m not sure if there was supposed to be one, but after the night we had, coffee would have been nice. When I checked out, I spoke to a manager who only offered to give me a $50 refund. That barely even covered the “resort” fee. Not sure how they can get away with calling this trashy place a “resort”. The beds didn’t even have headboards, those were painted on the wall. I’ve stayed at budget rate motels with better amenities. We didn’t even use our park tickets because of the terrible experience we had. The $50 partial refund was insulting, and I will NOT be back.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. When purchasing tickets online, you never know what building you'll end up in. Additionally, if you purchase tickets online, they hide under the fine print that they're non-refundable. As a marketing professional, this is an absolute dishonest practice of advertisement and marketing.

After displaying disappointment in their inability to advertise honorably, they offered to put me in a room that had a Jacuzzi tub. Mind you, I'm coming to a hotel that has a water park and you're trying to keep me in my room. That should be a red flag to anybody.

Our room was placed directly next to a broken ice machine that ran all night. After speaking with customer service about the issue, you guessed it, nothing happened. Customer service in the arcade and at the bar were equally as terrible. Why would I ever want to come back if everyone has an attitude, and acts like they hate their job!? On top of that, the soda that we purchased was expired…

Cleaning service never came to the room. After finding a few cleaners in the hallway, I spoke with them to ensure that they would come by, but they still didn't. After calling down to customer service, I had new towels sent up, and just a heads up these towels feel like sandpaper.

The water park was very underwhelming, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. Having to walk through the pool area to get to the indoor amusement park is very strange. I would imagine the resort as a whole is different in the summer, however the layout of their buildings would make for a very inconvenient stay.

We ended up canceling out last night at the hotel and went to the Wilderness. It was a bit more than we could afford, but it was worth every penny. The Wilderness is superior in every category, and I would recommend spending your money there. Please don’t respond to this message with any offers.

(NOTE: The “relevant reviews” listed on Google Reviews are obviously staged. If you look at the newest reviews, they are all terrible.)

Good luck, they try to stick anyone ihey can in building 39 which is in a parking lot a mile away first. We ended up in a room with bunk beds in the end in building 10, it was a walking trail away, 15 minute walk.
