Our room had a bad smell. We noticed when we walked in, sort of like old milk. We asked for a different room, but were told hotel all booked. We stayed two nights and the smell never left. Upon walking in to the Hampton Inn Cheyenne, I was thoroughly impressed! The beds were comfortable and inviting, the bedroom and bathroom areas were well cleaned, the breakfast area was nice a relaxed, and the walls were thick and kept out the noise of other guests. Have to say I am usually not a huge fan of Hampton Inn. It is usually just OK, very middle of the road, and I have stayed at brand new Hampton's before. My other choice was sold out, so I gave this hotel a try. I was very glad I did! Check-in was a breeze and they were very nice.... more

Cheyenne's Hampton Inn is good in the typical ways that Hampton Inn's are good: good price, good features, good breakfast, good service. This hotel does have some issues: it is right next to the Interstate and quite noisy; they did not fix several items that needed fixing - a slow draining shower, erratic TV service. more
