The Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch is the GREAT place to stay in the vicinity of the Yellowstone Park. Great location, comfortable cabins, incredible staff, delicious food with specialities and wine, warm atmosphere. I spent there only half a day and night (far too short) with my DEAR FRIEND and it was very romantic and memorable time. The great impression... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Shoshone Lodge just outside the East entrance of Yellowstone Park, approximately 40 miles from Cody. The cabin we stayed in was a duplex but we didn't notice any noise at all from our neighbors. It had a fridge and comfortable beds, and was very clean. Free Wi-Fi was available and a computer and TV... more

My family visited Yellowstone on vacation the last week of September 2009 and made an adventure of our vacation by not planning places to stay or specific places to visit on certain days or times of our vacation. We found that a forest fire and closed bridge restricted us from accessing some of the areas we wanted to visit during... more

We stayed at Shoshone Lodge for 3-nights as our base for exploring Yellowstone. Just 5 miles or so from the East entrance, it's a perfect place to stay and unwind after a busy day exploring! The staff here are extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant is excellent - both breakfast and dinner! We stayed in "Camp Jonathan" - a... more

My wife and I spent 8 days at the Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch and I can't think of a better place to stay around Yellowstone. The Lodge is only 3 miles from the east entrance. The cabin we stayed in was small, more like the size of a standard motel room, but the bed was very comfortable, the cabin... more

We stayed here during our cross country drive, hoping to stop by Yellowstone National Park. We had two cats with us, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating with pets, with our weary traveling, with the room we reserved the night before but could not make, with us arriving much too early for check-in. The staff was amazing and friendly. We... more

The Shoshone Lodge & Guest is just beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. The food in the lodge is wonderful, especially the ribs. If you have a chance stay there. more

We stayed three nights and loved it. Our cabin was cute and clean. (Bathroom very small). The location could not be better. Three miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This is the place to stay if you're going to Yellowstone for a few days. If you stay in Cody, you will have a super long drive to get to Old... more

My hubby and I stayed with my brother and his wife and had two cabins, which were cute, rustic and very clean, set amidst the beautiful mountains. There is a great lodge with internet access and a fabulous dining room with outstanding food - every meal we had was first class, from the tasty breakfasts to our suberb evening meals,... more

We booked a four-night stay at Shoshone Lodge after reading so many favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. I communicated with Mike, the owner/manager of the Lodge, several times by e-mail prior to my arrival. We arrived very late on a Sunday night and were greeted by Gail, the most welcoming ambassador - they are blessed to have her... more
