The hotel does not look that bad from the outside and indeed probably was probably nicer before, but you can tell that they have done nothing to keep up the place recently. We had a reservation and when we tried to check-in. The rude staff tried to up the price because there were 2 people in our party. We first checked the room and found it smelly and dirty. We told the staff no thanks and went to another local hotel. The Bull Moose Inn was nice. more

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was terrible and the manager was very rude and inconsiderate. The rooms where small and stunk. The beds where so old the sagged in the middle. more

I got the last room in town during a major snow storm. The price was $43, so not bad. Heater would either get too hot or not work at all, sounded like a bilge pump working all night.
