Nice room and very clean. Staff needs some work... seemed completely apathetic. I'll echo the other reviewer about room noise. We had some jackasses staying in the room next to us, and they made enough noise to wake the dead. I might try the Holiday Inn Express the next time I stay in Gillette. more

We liked this hotel. The rooms was great with good beds and pillows. The staff was nice even got us a good price. The hotels has probably a more expensive price than other nearby citys as we asked a lot of other hotels. Try the Appelbee nearby - great dinner. more

Apparently, I arrived in Gillette in the middle of the Sturgis's motorcycle rally season, which meant that hotel rates were higher than usual. Nothing to complain about. The hotel was nice and the room was nice. For some reason the hotel wasn't busy during our stay so it was very quiet. Very nice hotel. Friendly desk staff, comfy room, good breakfast. Appleby's is just a few mins walk away - great meals. I would have given this place an 'excellent', but for the coffee machine in the room. We stayed in this hotel when an early winter storm sprang up. Be prepared for EVERY hotel in Gillette to charge prices steep enough to make your jaw drop.
