Unique hotel. Probably a real gem in its past. The authenticity is there, and the atmosphere is great because its clearly a hunters type of place when vacationing/hunting. Never met less pleasant people. First time traveling to the bow hunt with a friend. Last time I'll ever go to this hotel again. Cool hotel, but felt like I was imposing... more

We selected this hotel for a one night stopover en-route from Yellowstone to Denver, on the basis of it being a building of historical interest. This lovely hotel was built in 1916 and is on the National Register of Historic places. It is not a luxury hotel, but a comfortable inn with an authentic feel. Like most older hotels the rooms are small by today's standards, but the ambiance more than makes up for it. There is a bar and a very nice restaurant where... more
