I stopped at the Maverick because they advertised live music with dinner and had a billboard on the street with a favorable price. The motel is under new managerment and is currently in the long process of being restored. The lobby was old and musty so I decided to peek into the restuarant to see if it was a dive.... more

The hotel charged our creditcard for an unauthorised amount after payment of the full charge for our stay. No reaction on several attempts to get in touch. more

I like the Maverick Motel. It has a good restaurant and is located on Main St. in walking distance of downtown. more
