Because of your reviews we did not want to stay here but since it was the only available motel in town during a ballgame we chose to chance it. We were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome, clean rooms, little things wrong fixed immediately, friendly help. My husband and I stayed with our son and his wife and three children... more

OMG! The room was dirty. There was food stuck to the wall and in the drawers and on the window sill that was also full of dead bugs and 1/2 inch of dirt. Shower drain, DOESN'T drain. Towel bar is falling off the wall. Food all around the edge of the room and under the bed. We payed way too... more

We went to Laramie to get our son settled into Wyotech. I had reserved a room at 1st Inn because it was the only place with a room. When we arrived I noticed that the outside was unkept. We checked in fine, the gentleman behind the counter was very nice. We were to stay 3 nights and paid cash. Our... more

Gosh, why is this ranked so low? I've stayed here twice (not in the past year, though) and I come in late. I enjoy lounging out on the large King sized bed. The rates are $50 for a non-weekend, and have slept well. I would stay here again in the future, but I am also fond of the Howard Johnson... more

First of all we only stayed here because it was really the only hotel in Laramie with a room. The staff was very unprofessional and I just had a weird feeling about the whole situation but I was really way to tired to keep looking or to drive to Cheyenne. Nevertheless we did end up staying and were so upset.... more

We visited Laramie for a wedding with many of our family members arriving after we did. The hotel recommended to all of us was bad, so we opted to move. This place looked OK on initial inspection, so we changed hotels and reserved rooms for other family members. I wish we would have looked a little closer. They claim to... more

I stayed in this motel for college graduation in May and so we paid a premium price for the room (even after AARP discount). The rooms are adequate, but had shabby bed coverings (looked like a bottle of bleach had fallen on one of the bedspreads). Toiletries are of very low budget (tear open bags of shampoo) which I can't... more

Stayed in this hotel for a convention at the University. Upon entering our room, we noticed that either the previous occupants of the room or possibly the cleaning staff had thrown something away and missed the garbage receptacle. There were also left-over food items (popcorn, candy pieces) on the floor under the bed. Cleaning service was not given at all... more

The Motel presents well and offers a very fine adjacent restaurant. However, the floor coverings in some areas exposed to water such as the Hot Tub room and the bathroom were tiled with a glossy, slippery tile; the bathroom in a shiny white tile floor covering. Adding to safety concerns is the fact that the shower water temperature may fluctuate... more

We were in Branson, Missouri and stayed at 1st Inn Gold. We were very satisfied and pleased with our room and the accomodations. Their breakfast is very satisfactory. We have no complaints and will stay at 1st Inn Gold whenever it is available on our trips. more
