This was a terrific clean motel. After a 10 day road trip this was easily the best place we stayed in. Staff was terrific and there was a great steakhouse down the block that was open until 10 pm. This was a great location to stop if you are heading south after going to Mt. Rushmore and Sitting Bull Monument.

Great place to stop and rest for the night. Only drawback was the hot tub, never got warm. Room is excellent, clean and cozy. Walking distance to great food, or we could have had delivery. Breakfast was unbelievable. We loved everything and had a great time.

There was the first place between Mt. Rushmore and Denver where we could find a room during the motorcycle week. Little bit overpriced, but unexpectedly nice! A covered pool was another great surprise. Quiet, comfortable, friendly. Will recommend to friends and come would come again.

On a recent trip through the area 4 of us spent the night at the Covered Wagon. We were completely satisfied with it! Clean comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms and a great breakfast in the morning. I couldn't fault this hotel. It was very reasonably priced and excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, the breakfast decent, the pool and hot tub very good and the room large, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. There was even a small playground for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay.
