I had the occasion to stay a few nights at YVI, late last summer. We stayed in one of their well appointed cabins, ate two delicious dinners, I strongly recommend their signature dish, "Surf & Turf", an 8oz Flat iron steak with two gigantic shrimp. I mean they were 4oz. or better each. To be enjoyed as well is there... More

These are cute little cabins with great views all around. We ate dinner at the restaurant there it was pretty good. We split the surf and turf dinner. I would recommend just going with a steak. Their steaks are excellent but neither of us care for the shrimp. The veggies tasted like frozen veggie medley not my favorite but the... More

Last June we stayed for 2 days on our trip to Yellowstone. We liked the whole feel of the place. The staff and the owners made us feel like family. The rooms were clean. Food was great. Defiantly try the Surf and Turf. We wanted to go horseback riding while they don’t have horses they went out of their way... More

This was a great stop for us. A good layover location for horse at Stage Coach Valley Ranch across the river from this Inn. Cabin clean and neat. Fall is a good time to stop. Great food at the restaurant. Outstanding free breakfast, one of the best on our trips this fall.

We stayed in a cabin at Yellowstone Valley Inn and found it to be very convenient to Cody and Yellowstone Park. The breakfast and dinners there were very good! After a day of sightseeing, we enjoyed sharing our adventures with other travelers in the lounge. Good base camp!

Beautiful scenery out every window, abundant wildlife, warm atmosphere that envokes the shyest of all to compete in karaoke, dancing and having a good ol time all night with that lively little social scene, and a super staff! We love it there!!! Can't wait to go back :-)

Stayed here on Sept 20th and loved it. Everybody is very friendly. The cabin we stayed in was perfect. The room is big and the bathroom is too. The internet was fast. We had dinner there and it was very good. The waitress was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The free breakfast buffet was nice. I plan... More

We stayed one night only. The rooms were dirty. Realize out in country but should be dusted and vacuumed the day customers are arriving not the day someone leaves if going to be vacant a day or two. Not sure bed had clean sheets. All wrinkled. The double bed had queen size sheets on it .Sheets moved all over. Bathroom... More

I was very surprised when I talked to these folks as we've gotten excellent cleanliness reviews all summer and our head housekeeper Jim was standing right there and was him self surprised. after they departed he went immediately to both rooms and returned with a positive report. Yes the wooden toilet seat had a scratch but other than that was... More

The so called cabins are rectangular wooden buildings with a thin wall and two tenents. You can hear everything on the other side. Our neighbor left a noisy bathroom fan on all night - shaking the whole building. The furnishings are on the par with the cheapest hotels. No table, no porch, no refrigerator, thin towels, and the shower faucet... More

Not sure what they expected as we post pictures of everything on our web site. I doubt the cheapest hotels have Denver mattress pillowtop beds, 95 channels of directv, coffee makers, hair dryers and air conditioners( we're 1 of only 2 in the entire 52 mi valley), free WIFI and the best egg buffet breakfast anywhere. Our cabins are superior... More

We booked our stay at Yellowstone Valley Inn directly with the owner, Ron, who was very friendly and helpful as were all of the staff. He offered excellent travel advise for an enjoyable ride over the Big Horn Mts which included shortcuts that were easy to follow. The Inn has a nice setting on the River and our 2nd floor... More
