We stayed at Camp Aloha 6 nights the last week of October 2008 and enjoyed our stay. For the price, outdoor living, old Hawaiian farm atmosphere, laid back attitude, and easy access to snorkeling and kayaking in Honaunau-Napoopoo-Kealakekua area, the place is great, and was a wonderful relaxing, quiet retreat. The rental is 3 rooms in a private south wing of the owners’ home with private entrance from the pool area. The bathroom, sitting room, and bedroom were clean and functional, with ample towels, 2 robes, fans, toiletries, reading material, TV, and private lawn area.
The lanai/kitchen area is a short walk around the outside corner of the house. This is where we spent most of our time when not playing in the water and sightseeing. Fantastic westerly views, comfy chairs, a well stocked camp kitchen for cooking, with the pool right below for more views and quick dips. Beach toys and coolers for your use are also stored here.
