My husband and I spent our Honeymoon in the Cowboy House at Puakea Ranch. The house was historical, charming, clean, and romantic. The grounds have a pool, porch, hammock and picnic table out front for relaxing. There are fresh eggs and fruit put out everyday to take for guests. The property was beautiful, horses grazing, beautiful sunsets. You are close... More

My husband I recently spent 8 days here in total relaxation. It was exactly what we needed. We were looking for somewhere that my husband could unwind from a very stressfull job. This turned out perfect, with our own cool down pool and the quiet of the property it was perfect. We stopped at Costco on the was from the... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights, 5 days at Puakea Ranch staying in the Cowboy House. What a wonderful relaxing time we had and the best part was sleeping like a baby every night in a very comfortable bed. We loved having fresh eggs for breakfast and fresh picked ingredients for our salads at dinner. This was our 3rd... More

We only spent four nights and five days at the Ranch but I can tell you I will be back for a much longer stay. From fresh vegatables from the garden and fresh eggs daily from the hen house to the quiet star filled skies at night, it was one of the most relaxing times I've ever had. The beds... More

We spent a wonderful "all family" week there with all our children and grandchildren. We had the chance to experience all of the homes and grounds and found nothing to be lacking. When we were wondering about a bit more room for the older grandkids, Christie worked with us to rent a totally refurbished 1955 Airstream trailor,Little Wally. Christie accomodated... More

My family of 4 just spent an amazing 6 nights at this unbelievable property with 2 other families. We rented Yoshi's House and our fiends rented Cowboy House and James Cottage. All of the accommodations were 5 star. The beds and linens were comfortable and gorgeous. The decor and furniture were both lovely looking as well as utilitarian -- and... More

We just returned from a couples trip to Puakea Ranch and I am so sad--sad that we ever had to leave. The night we arrived, the charm of James Cottage and the ranch seemed apparent, but honestly I wondered if perhaps the previous reviews were perhaps overrated. But then we woke up the next morning to a beautiful rainbow on... More

Puakea Ranch is such an idyllic setting and is one of my favorite memories of Hawaii. The ranch has goats, horses, dogs, and chickens; if an animal lover, this place is a dream come true. Our family stayed in Yoshi's house, which was beautifully decorated and had all the charm of an old house but with modern amenities. The house... More

I cannot express in words what a great Hawaiian experience you could have staying at the Puakea Ranch. Step back in time and experience a true Hawaiian vacation. My family of 5 had the privilege of staying at the Cowboy house. Kids had room to play and parents had room to breath, we loved it. The staff made each of... More

We didn't want to come home. We loved our stay here -- beautiful sunsets, comfortable house, lots of room for kids to roam and play. The owner was helpful in securing SUP rental and lessons for our stay, answering questions about the location, and would have arranged anything else we needed. My children loved having room to run and play,... More
