This is an idyllic place to stay. It's in the city, with the quiet and privacy of the country. So clean, comfortable, and pretty, inside and out. We loved the private yard, lovely lanai, and gorgeous flowers and water garden. The cottage has every amenity, and is so organized and spotless---it was totally relaxing and peaceful. Tina is a wonderful hostess--helpful, but not obtrusive, and her cottage shows real pride of ownership. We recommend this place to anyone who wants a great home away from home--It's a good spot to use as a home base when you are visiting the north and central parts of the Big Island---we spent lots less time driving around when we were staying there, and got to really investigate the Kamuela and northern areas of the island. It wasn't that far to the beach (maybe 45 minutes?) and we found new spots to visit, swim and hike than we'd discovered in previous trips.
