I initially chose Ohia because they didn't charge extra for my child as a third person, and there was no cleaning fee for a stay longer than one night. It turned out to be the best choice I could have made. The house was immaculate, and the attention to detail exacting. The sinks all glistened, and we even had a new, wrapped sponge in the kitchen so we could wash our dishes easily. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub made us resist going out. We saved a bundle of money by cooking in the well-equiped kitchen, and doing laundry in the house. It's located close to the national park, and was an ideal retreat after a day of hiking or volcano watching. We didn't hear the neighbours, only the birds.
My child spent a lot of time working out how we could make our house and garden as nice as this. My husband was very impressed. I got major points with the family for booking us in at Ohia.
