We stayed in the Honu Room, with a jungle view and lots of nice things in the room and in the lobby, the wi-fi worked in the room and the breakfast was refreshing, the innkeeper very nice and informative. more

I would echo what the other reviews say about the rude innkeepers, poor furnishings and overall low quality. Would also point out that the room is lit by a bare fluorescent lightbulb, is moldy and damp, and there are signs everywhere telling you what you can't do (e.g. use the bathtub, take anything but "very short showers" (!)), and loud... more

If you want to be treated fairly, warmly, or even civily, look elsewhere. The Volcano Inn on 2nd street is nicer, cleaner, and cheaper. There is absoluetly no reason to stay at this Inn.
