I have to say that as we drove to Lotus, I was a little concerned that it might be too far from Hilo. But the next day my misgivings were quickly dispelled. The place is in the volcano village and it's very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are well kept, clean and felt just like home. The hosts were very friendly and would definitely go back and stay there again! more
