We reserved our vacation prior to seeing the bad review and were really worried. We even tried to find alternate accommodations but couldn't find anything available. We were very unsatisfied with this place the minute we walked in. Our 2 year old daughter immediately said "This house smells bad," and still refers to it as stinky house when she sees it in pictures. The house was extraordinarily mildewy, and the owners knew it. We decided to stay two nights near the volcano, to get the most of our volcano experience. What a great decision! Through an Internet search, we found "Hawaii Volcano Vacations".
