Our family enjoyed our stay at this somewhat hawaiian resort. All things considered, the resort was an average experience, nothing extraordinary, nothing terrible. Very middle of the road. Decent pools and grounds. Not the most Hawaiian of the resorts on the coast. Only one restaurant on the property. The breakfast buffet was very good. more

Stayed here during Memorial weekend. Not a lot of travellers at that time. Plenty of chairs by the pool. There are three hot tubs. Hotel is a little far from the water so we could not hear the sound of the waves or the water at night. Breakfast was a buffet and a deal at $19.95 per person. Right across... more

Would I stay here again? Yes. The Marriott Waikoloa is a very nice hotel. It has all the amenities needed: pool, hot tub, sand pool for the kids, fitness center, and sand beach. The bathroom was nicely done. We stayed in room 3135. It was a king size bed with comfy pillows and a nice balcony. Great bathroom area. We... more

My husband, son and I stayed at the Marriott Waikoloa from 22 to 29 May and we could not have been more pleased. This was the second part of our two island trip to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We purchased into the Marriott Vacation Club a few years ago and it was one of the best vacation decisions we have... more

We just love this hotel. Our last stay was in 2005 just prior to the remodel. We were there the week prior to Memorial Weekend. This visit we brought our 3 1/2 year old daughter for the first time. The hotel remodel really turned out nice, the rooms are beautiful. We had a king bed and a rollaway for our... more

This is a long review, but I hope this is helpful to some obsessive planners out there like me. We stayed at this hotel for 5 days after staying 6 days in Maui at the Four Seasons. That being said, we knew this would not match our experience in Maui but we were looking forward to snorkelling on the Big... more

We stayed the week before Memorial Day weekend and were in room 2264. Because we booked using Marriott points, our room was supposed to be only a garden view, but from our room we could see out over the pools to the ocean and the location couldn't have been more perfect to get out to the pools, restaurant and easy... more

My husband, 13 year old son, mother and brother stayed here for a not nearly long enough 5 days in July 2007. We had 2 rooms, one was a Garden view with a king size bed on the third floor, and one was a pool view with two queen sized beds on the first floor. Both rooms were awesome, but... more

This hotel was only a short ride from the airport, the contrast in landscaping from volcanic lava to lush green was amazing. The hotel was clean and modern..the pools were lavish and the beach spectacular, even tho very small...There is a small shopping center close by, within walking distance with a macaroni grill and a fantastic grocery store with deli... more

Using Priceline, we paid $ 185/night for our garden facing room. Room - not luxurious but very functional. It was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The mini fridge and room safe were appreciated. The housekeeping staff were good, so remember to tip them, if you can. Tastefully decorated and roomy. No complaints. AC worked well. Pool - we... more
