This was our first visit to Paniolo Greens and we were pleasantly surprised. The one bedroom units are huge and the one we stayed in had just been renovated. They are renovating all their units. Staff were friendly and helpful. Waikoloa Village is off the beaten track, but with the KTA supermarket very close it was not an issue. Would... more

The hotel/condo is very nice but no room service. We stayed there for two nights and no one picked up the garbage, replaced towels, etc. more

My wife and I recently stayed here at Paniolo Greens for a weeks after spending a week at the Hilton Waikoloa. Paniolo Greens put the Hilton to shame. The room was nicer, the staff went out of their way to insure that we got the room that we wanted. The rooms are very pleasant and I enjoyed they stay thoroughly.... more

My husband and I just returned from a week at Paniolo Greens. This is a nice resort. We had a two bedroom condo, which was supplied with any kitchen gadget we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Our unit was ground level which we enjoy. We were entertained daily by the local wild life. We watched a herd of... more

I stayed at Paniolo Greens on the Big Island in September, 2009. I was traveling with my wife, 2 1/2 year old daughter and my in-laws. The resort is located in Waikoloa, about 15 minutes from the nearest beach. The resort overlooks a golf course, teeming with wild turkeys (to my daughter's endless delight), and we had distant view of... more

My wife and I loved the place. It was clean with very good service. The grounds were well maintained and the was staff very helpful. We were 20 min from 2 of the best rated beaches on the big island. The hotel is not on the main drag and you need a car to get around the island anyway. The... more

First time on the Big Island. Everything a plus EXCEPT for a Sunday afternoon pool experience (hoping for dearly needed R & R) that I endured for two hours, then left. One rather large family with several children (between maybe 4-11 years of age) behaved as tho it were their very own private pool party.... The mom sat writing in... more

The condo was spacious and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. The turkeys and goat on the golf course were fun to watch. The biggest surprise was that the Kona/Kohala area is covered with lava and more lava and then lava on top of lava. If you aren't on the resort or smack on the ocean... more

This two bedroom condo had every amenity we could ask for; and our patio led to a golf course where we fed wild turkeys in the morning! Easy drive to the Kohala and Kona beaches; and easy drive to Waimea. The staff was very nice to us - they recommended good places to eat; they sent a person quickly to... more

Everyone was nice and helpful, especially Keith at front desk, great villa, clean with everything you could possibly need. Right on the golf course, temendous views. The staff had a welcome party, food, drinks and entertainment for the visitors. This was our 9th Hawaiian vacation and we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. I'd stay there again in a minute. Dave and... more
