My husband and I returned this year to Wiakoloa with his sister and brother-in-law. Last year we stayed at the Hilton resort hotels across the street from the Bay Club. This year we rented a condo as part of our Hilton Club membership. We stayed in room #135, on the third floor per our request as we had read on... more

This is our fourth visit to the Big Island, three of which we have spent in the Bay Club. Although we are owners at Kings Land (neighboring property owned by HGVC) we prefer to stay at the Bay Club, because of its spacious units and the points bargain (it costs about a third less HGVC points to stay in the... more

First off I can't really say if the Bay Club Resort is a good experience/value for the money as we were fortunate to be gifted the one week stay so I don't know if another timeshare location of comparable point value would be a better stay. I must say that the previous 5/19/09 reviewer gave a very detailed description of... more

There were many things about the "Big Island" of Hawaii that I did not like. For example; most of the time if you wanted to do something you would have to drive at least 30 minutes to get there. The one thing, however, you won't find me complaining about (well maybe 1 or 2 things) is the Bay Club at... more

This is truly the best timeshare on the Big Island, primarily because it was built as condos and has, therefore, significantly larger units than normal vacation ownershp properties. I stayed at TBC two nights at the end of April and as a board member got to see the high quality renovations soon to come. Owners and visiting guests will be... more

We stayed in the spacious 2 bed 2 bath unit overlooking the golf course. The unit has been freshly painted with new carpet. The kitchen and all bathrooms need renovating as they are from the early '80's (we did not really care as we did not cook there...) The main flaw is the noise. We were on the first floor... more

True, this resort may not be for everyone; but I have my choice of staying at the ritzier Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the Island and I choose to stay at the Bay Club because the units are more spacious. Yes, you can hear the neighbors above you if you are on the first or second floor. I hear that... more

We stayed at the Bay Club Resort. Let's start with the positive. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. There were three levels, we stayed on the second floor. Our balcony was very large and had a great view of the golf course. The Bay Club Resort is a bit old, however, well maintained. New appliances etc. If you enjoy... more

I had never been to Hawaii and when I upgraded my Hilton Ownership to Elite we are given two airline tickets to Hawaii. So this was the perfect gift. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a huge balcony overlooking the 18th tee box of the golf course. A great view of the sunset. We arrived late at night... more

We have been Bay Club owners for at least 15 years. We stay here at last twice a year. Yep, not as glitzy as the other places. But the outside is great, the rooms are much larger than the Waikoloa HGVC rooms, the staff is super. And sitting on the lanai at night is much better than the Waikoloa, adjacent.... more
