We had never been to Hawaii before so jumped at the chance to get a discounted trip. We were very pleased with the Plantation Hale and really enjoyed Kapa'a and the entire island of Kauai. The condos are within walking distance of the Coconut Marketplace, where you can shop and eat and be entertained. It isn't far from grocery shopping... more

Very comfortable and recently remodeled destination. Wonderful location..suite rooms very nice with excellent kitchen. Pool and hot tub close by. Nice to see a hotel with fluffy large towels also. Courteous staff who even checked in with us later to see how we were doing. Local Kapaa area very appealing with local restaurants and shopping. more

The worst thing one can say is it is 300ft to the beach, but has a wonderful view with palm trees to really set the "I'm in Hawaii" mood. Nicely furnished, not plush, but fully suitable for a vacation home. You can spend more and get a fancier place but you wont get better bang for your bucks. Just be... more

Just arrived home from a week in Kauai. The best vacation we ever had. The hotel is actually renovated apartment building run as a hotel. Huge clean room with full kitchen, balcony and clean pools. No freebie breakfast but we cooked ours daily anyway. Great AAA rate. We stayed in J bldg. Not ocean front but for the money...can't beat... more

We loved this place. We had an ocean view room which was comfortable and clean all at a low price. The pools were well maintained as were the grounds. We plan a return trip in May, 2008 and will stay here again. more

We stayed at this hotel for only one night in January. It was a nice property... some of the decor was outdated, but it really didn't matter to us. The one bedroom suite was huge and for only $125/night + tax. If we were staying in Kauai longer I would have definantly booked this place for our whole stay. There... more

I just spent three nights at the Plantation Hale on Kaua'i. It is about 10-15 minutes north of Lihu'e Airport, and is pretty easy to get to. Plantation Hale is one of the best places to stay in Kauai, and a value to boot!. I booked unit G-7 through a local agency (Garden Island Properties).
