A lovely comfy B&B with sea views and just across the road from the beach. The lovely Jules made my holiday when she presented the leis and the most welcome fruit smoothie on our arrival. A very good breakfast. It was a nice experience to be there when Jules and Patrick's daughter had her 2nd birthday and to share in... More

Such a lovely spot on the west side of the island. We were there for our honeymoon and felt that we had just the right balance of privacy and easy access to helpful hosts. We loved being on the less commercial side of the island, and across the street from a beach we always had to ourselves!

We were so very pleased with our stay at Hale Puka 'Ana. Patrick and Jules were so thoughtful and accommodating. The view from the upstairs lanai at breakfast was spectacular and filled with lots of whale activity. We highly recommend Hale Puka 'Ana for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of Kauai without all of the congestion of the... More

We just spent 3 nights at Jules' and Patrick's Hale Puka Ana. Incredible ocean view! This spot is perfect for accessing the canyon and Polihale beach. A plus for us was being able to go for a run or walk along the road that fronts the ocean. Nice wide shoulder and paved. Of course you can walk along the beach... More

An excellent place to stay away from the resort areas but within an easy drive. An ideal location for exploring Waimea canyon. Jules and Patrick made us feel very welcome with their relaxed attitude and provided a good breakfast every day. We enjoyed using the Tiki kitchen for our evening BBQs.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Patrick and Jules have created such a gem. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with smiles, comfort, and relaxation. You have access to as much or as little direction as you desire in terms of suggestions of places to go explore, eat, etc. They treat you like a long lost relative, not... More

We stayed for four nights at Jules and Patricks lovely B&B. After a warm welcome we enjoyed every morning a delicious breakfast on the lanai at the first floor. The tiki hut with a gas grill in the garden was perfect for an BBQ during the sunset and the nearby beach good for swimming (in the waves ;-) ). Jules... More

This was our first time at a B&B, and we were happy with our choice to stay at Hale Puka Ana. Jules was a wonderful hostess and made healthy, filling breakfasts. We really enjoyed the upstairs lanai in the morning, where we saw whales every day! The location is also ideal for exploring Waimea Canyon and Polihale beach, which is... More

We stayed here for 3-nights in January 2013 and were fortunate to have sunny and warm weather the whole time, allowing us time to enjoy the great ocean views that many people have already mentioned. We saw whales out to see from the upstairs lanai every day. We had the Ku'uipo suite which we think is the smallest room and... More

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in October 2012 and could not have enjoyed it more. One of the main reasons I picked Hale Puka 'Ana was its location - I really wanted to get away from the really 'touristy' stuff on the island. As it turns out, not only did we achieve that goal,...
