The value of a truly enjoyable vacation resort hotel is critical for anyone’s long awaited vacation in Hawaii. Ko’a Kea, a new small (boutique) hotel offers value, not at a very low price but at a reasonable price for the luxury it affords. Where “Everybody Knows Your Name” is the theme song of Cheers but it should be the theme... more

The two of us only had one night to spend here at this brand new property and know that we'll come back to watch the progress that management and staff will add month over month. With a strong design point of view and the advantage of a fabulous beach front location where white water views are at your door step,... more

Truly a jewel on the island of Kaua'i. I chose Koa Kea over the Hyatt for my wife's 50th birthday and it was the right choice. The personnel we extremely helpful and knowledgeable in ensuring our stay would be a memorable one. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bed even had a feather topper and there is an espresso... more

Our recent stay at the Ko'a Koa Hotel was excellent. The hotel was built to truly reflect the beauty and tranquility of Kauai. Upon arrival at night, we were in awe that the grounds are softly lit by torches creating a peaceful setting. We were escorted to our room by a gentleman who explained the special details of the rooms.... more

Ko'a Kea is a fantastic little gem hidden amongst the larger and overcrowded resorts. Despite being surrounded by several busy hotels and its prime beach location, the Ko'a Kea is peaceful and quiet. This may not be the best place for families looking for extravagant kid-focused pools, but it is the PERFECT location for honeymooners or older couples looking for... more

My wife and I spent our 10th wedding anniversary at the Koa Kea and had a excellent experience. My wife and I prefer to stay in smaller boutique hotels that provide personalized service and we thought this would be a nice alternative to the Hyatt. We have stayed in other Preferred Network Hotels and were not disappointed. The Koa Kea... more

For our anniversary we opted for a small boutique experience that would provide us a quiet escape. The experience we found exceeded expectations and hopes. The serenity of this beachfront boutique is unsurpassed. Life is too full of constant interruptions and as we near the end of our stay we regret that we must leave. Simple things like not having... more

This is a lovely little hotel. It has been decorated and landscaped beautifully. The personnel couldn't do enough to make our stay special. Everyone was super friendly. The chef in their dining room is fabulous, worth every penny of the price. Specially prepared, fresh food served exquisitely. The only rooms with a true ocean view (and they are ocean front),... more

When we arrived, one day after the grand opening, we were awe-struck upon entering the hotel. The Koa Kea is designed to impress with its clean & contemporary stye - elegant, yet understated and very comfortable. White leather sofas with jolts of colourful toss cushions, exquisite shell themed lighting, everywhere you gazed in the 'great room' styled check-in area lounge,... more

I did not stay at Koa Kea but spent time at the spa. I loved many things about the spa and it's employees and there were only a few small things that I didn't like. My massage with Greg was wonderfu and one of the best I have ever had. It wasn't a typical rub down but more of an... more
