We've enjoyed Outrigger hotels before, such as the Reef on the Beach in Waikiki. Kiahuna is our new favorite. We've been twice before and will be going again next week. We always get a full ocean view unit and just love the relaxing views over the lawns to the beach. It's fun to watch the kids play on the grass.... more

Stayed for 5 nights in September 2008 in unit #249. The units are individually owned and the grounds are large, so there is a lot of variability among the units. There is no A/C, but the condos have lots of screens for ventilation and temperature was never a problem in our unit. Unit 249 is at the edge of the... more

We had a wonderful week stay over our first anniversary here. We had reserved a Garden View room. They had put us in a ground floor condo which was a wonderful Garden View condo. The next day we asked if we could move to a condo on the second or third floor (we like rooms a bit higher up). The... more

We loved our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. Stayed in building #38, third floor and had a end unit. It was next to Plantation Gardens restaurant. At first we were concerned about possible noise there, but it wasn't a problem at all. Very peacefuI. It overlooked the cactus gardens, ponds and in the distance we could see the ocean on two sides.... more

Great place! We stayed in building #4 which has a nice, close view of the ocean, close to grills also. We brought our 15 mos old and had a great time! The pool was great, I just wish it was closer to the ocean, but then you would have to take away this great lawn they have...So it's a toss... more

After 3 stays at Kiahuna, we are considering purchasing one of the condos! It is a great location, comfortably appointed, and minutes from (walking) a great beach on the property. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the management efficient. Rising to the sunshine, listening to the birds, and sipping Kauai Coffee on the lanai make for a great morning start.... more

Our first stay in Hawaii was here. The room was very spacious and very clean. Nice kitchen with granite counter tops, appliances, glasses, bowls and plates. Perfect for stocking up groceries. We were first disappointed that there was no air conditioning but later found that it was not an issue at all (very comfortable). There was wooden shades and screens... more

This was our second visit to Kiahuna Plantation. We had stayed in the same building, (#11), previously, but had a lower unit in the middle. It was nice, but just didn't compare to this one. An upper level, end unit is definitely the way to go. You get a lot more of the tropical breezes coming through, which keeps it... more

We returned recently from our 5 night stay at the Kiahuna Plantation on Poipu. We booked directly through Outrigger. I didn't realize this was a very budget condo, we stayed in unit #243. The kitchen was minimally equipped (how about a spatula?) and making pancakes in the morning, mac and cheese for lunch and serving chips and salsa in the... more

After days of fiddling and searching I took the plunge and registered at the Outrigger! My family was glad I did! We had a fantastic stay in our one bedroom garden view condo. The owners had alot of the extras such as a fan, toys for the beach, chairs and fully stocked kitchen. Although the freezer did not freeze well, we... more
