I didn't have very good expectations going in, due to the reviews. Stayed a couple of nights waiting for our condo in kihei to be ready. Hotel is old and needs a little updating. The pool was much better than I expected. It is situated where it gets sun all day. Lots of restaurants, whole foods, a mall and a... More

We read the reviews and booked for one night as a sleepover before we moved over to Wailea - it was much better than expected - staff polite and helpful - room clean - ok it is what it is - but no complaints for one night or so - it's still Maui !!! More

After reading the reviews here, I didn't have much hope for this hotel. We chose this one over it's neighbor as it seemed to get the better reviews. It wasn't as bad as I'd feared. Yes, it's located on a harbor, not a beach you'd like to sit on, or water you want to swim in, but not nearly as... More

I stayed three nights at the Maui Beach Resort, which is located across the street from a large shopping mall. My room, which was very clean, had a double bed, a writing desk and lamp, a flat screen TV, a telephone, a nice dresser with two large drawers, a safe, a refrigerator, a radio alarm clock, and a closet with... It wasn't a great hotel... The courtyard is pleasant and it is beach front. The rooms were tiny, really tiny. Upgraded shower heads, moderate bed and clean room. Lobby left something to be desired. We included the breakfast in our room rate which I would recommend as the prices seemed high for the buffet. Nice spread, lots of options. Open... More

Thiis is our 2nd stay at the Maui Beach Hotel. I'm sure the rooms have shrunk since our last visit. We were certainly squeezed in this time. This hotel has everything you need, but if you like a bit more space you might have to specifically request a larger room. The breakfast was really nice with plenty of options for... More

The stay at the mMaui Beach Hotel may have been better than sleeping in the car, at at least there was a shower and close to a nice Shopping Center. The bed was hard, the highway was busy all night and it was hard to sleep; Getting up early and checking out was the high light of the stay. More

I researched staying in a bunch of different condos on the Kihei side but we ended up just staying here. We did not want to deal with all the different charges when we can just stay at a basic hotel. We were not looking for a high end place, we just needed a place to sleep and shower. We stayed... More

I won't recommend to stay in this hotel unless no other choice and for one night only. I noticed, if there is an issue, they are ready to respond and win always. I asked the front desk lady a question and I received lame answers. No customer satisfaction oriented front desk nor even a smile when you go to the... More

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we booked this hotel for an overnight stop after a very late arrival. The hotel is very conveniently located to OGG (maybe 5 minutes). Parking was easy and looked safe. Check-in quick and easy, the clerk was friendly even though it was midnight. As others have noted, the place is old and the hallways smell a... More
