The longer we stayed the more we enjoyed this "old Hawaii" feel resort. Very comfortable, clean and several amenities we have not had before ie, beach chairs, cooler, free high speed internet, free beach towel usage. Beautiful grounds right on the ocean. more

If you can go on a short notice, you can get great deals here. A week for about $270 is a great deal on Maui. Is it the best?....No BUT it has very nice people working there and the guests (mostly owners) are quite friendly. Good views and location, small parking lot though. We found the Maui Schooner in Summer, 2000 and have purchased 2 weeks. We go every year and stay in the "A" building which is the oceanfront building. We love the Maui Shooner and stay here every year. It is like a home away from home.
