I couldn't find just Maui Vista in the hotel list so I chose Maui Suncoast - Maui Vista. Anyway, we stayed at the Maui Vista Resort in Kihei. Ground floor unit 1116. Rented through the owner at www.vrbo.com/196759. Awesome! This place had everything and then some. According to the note from the owner in the guest book they just remodeled the kitchen (you could tell!) and painted and redecorated. It was so homey! The closet was brimming with beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, etc.

We were there in February and OMG - the whales!! Took a whale watching tour one morning and saw over 30 whales. It was breathtaking! The little babies...oh it was amazing to see.

Did the Road to Hana, again (manage to do it every time we visit Maui!) and saw so many waterfalls. We've never been in February and boy, what a difference with regard to waterfalls. Abundant! Hiked the Pipiwai Trail above the Seven Sacred Pools. If you haven't done this it is A MUST! Your eyes... more
