O.K., so the beach across the street is used more for walking, fishing and sunset viewing than swimming. It's beautiful & sandy and the swimming is just fine. This is a great location if you rent a car and want to see Maui. Quiet area, but close to Kihei happenings. From here you can access the rest of the Island. Staff is very helpful and keeps everything very clean. Great beaches, snorkeling and beginning surfing nearby. Go for it! more
