In May, 2007, we stayed in #112 and loved it and the beach ( except that Sorento's next door is very noisy until they close at approximately 3 am). Cooking out on the grills every night was a family delight. We wanted to stay there again this June, 2009, when my daughter was married on Maui but found out the... more

We read a terrible review here right before coming to Unit #213 and were apprehensive, but the place is wonderful. Good price for right on the beach, for one thing, but also spacious, light, comfortable, and pleasing. Two decent bedrooms. Since we are two couples, the second bedroom's twin beds were made up as a king, which was nice. Great... more

We were in a condo # 213, and it was terrible. This whole condo complex smells very bad. When we entered our condo, we thought that we'll drop - very strong mold smell. We went to the store and bought candles, air freshners, open every single window, and still this disgusting smell. I started feeling sick after a couple of... more

We stayed here on our honeymoon last year and stayed in unit 212. Apparently, this unit normally books for long periods in advance, so I guess we got lucky. I was very skeptical about staying here at first, however I was very pleasantly surprised after arriving. The condo was spacious, upgraded, with AMAZING views! The location couldn't have been better.... more

The HALE HUI KAI (unit # 302) was perfect for our family of four. We LOVED IT !! We chose a condo on the beach over a hotel so we could have more room, privacy and convenience of eating whenever. It was the first time to Maui for us and we wanted the most authentic feeling as possible (away from... more

My wife and I went to Maui for our honeymoon and stayed in room 312. The place was phenomenal. Amazing view (but other places would not have the same view). Very nicely decorated. Way bigger than we envisioned. It is way closer to any beach than any of the nice resorts. We went and had dinner at all the nice... more

A group of us recently traveled to Maui for a six day stay. Most of us ended up at Hale Hui Kai. We had a great time at these condos. They were clean, right on a wonderful beach and not too expensive. We had 3 couples in our condo 305 and it was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there... more

Our family of five just returned from a trip to Maui over our spring break. We were there for the week of March 15-22. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful time. It was our 2nd time to this island and our first time at Hale Hui Kai. We stayed at the Hale Hui Kai condos (unit #304) in Kihei.... more

We stayed in unit 112 on the first floor facing the ocean. This was a great unit with a lot of beach, snorkelling items supplied. This unit is by the ocean and is not as compacted as some of the other units, so the louvred wall noise wasn't an issue. I would have liked some a/c a few night though.... more

We stayed at the Hale Hui Kai (304) for the first 2 weeks in June and had a great time. Keawakapu Beach is an awesome beach for kids, with really fine sand and a nice snorkeling area on one end. I saw sea turtles and lots of cool fish snorkling around the reef next to the Mana Kai. We were... more
