We wanted a place that didn't feel like a resort but also didn't feel too much like a B&B. This felt like house sitting for a dear friend. A dear friend who owns an amazing property. The view is great and the grounds are spectacular. We loved having the pool and hot tub available 24 hours a day. We loved... More

Our first time to Maui and the Pineapple Inn.....I can truly say this is paradise! Our amazing hosts, Steve and Mark, guided us every step of the way with very clear instructions from the airport, which was most helpful as we arrived late at night, and how to access our accommodations while we were here. There was a group of... More

It is a true paradise. Mark & Steve are exceptional host's who go above and beyond. The lush garden and salt water pool were perfect for late afternoon cocktails and BBQ dinners at night. The rooms are clean, comfortable and each have their own private deck. A true oasis that is hard to leave. We will definitely become repeat customers.

I know there are so many positive reviews of this fabulous B @ B on trip advisor already, so just wanted to assure anybody looking that they are 100% right. I agree that the only problem was the noise from the highway, but also agree that closing the door and turning on the whisper quiet air conditioning guarantees a good... More

Very private, quiet, peaceful room in a clean 4 unit property next to owner's house. Felt like we had the pool and yard to ourselves from our deck. In a residential neighborhood. Laptop with internet access for guests was provided along with a mini-fridge stocked with goodies. Not within walking distance to beach or shopping, so you must have a... More

Every time I go to Maui, I make sure I don't buy a ticket before I can confirm that a room is available at the Pineapple Inn. After staying perhaps a dozen times, I love it as much as I did the first time! Mark and Steve are brilliant hosts, the rooms are comfortable (either first or second floor), and... More

I just love their business model--unobtrusive hospitality! No front desk, but an always-available and helpful owner reachable by cell phone. No formal group breakfast room, but a stocked mini-fridge so you can eat at your leisure. Gorgeous and serene gardens with exquisite plants, a small salt water pool, and immaculate hot tub create a backyard oasis. The rooms are well-designed... More

The owners know that a relaxing and satisfying vacation starts with the details and they've thought of everything in the design and operation of this charming inn. Snacks, beach, really comfortable beds & silent A/C, fridge/sink, beach & bath amenities, maps, books, parking spaces, salt water (not chlorine) pool, hot tub, BBQ grill, direct views of the ocean & Maui... Relaxing, comfortable, and lush gardens! No small detail is overlooked from coolers, beach chairs, etc to take to the beach to breakfast foods and a welcome basket(who knew chocolate covered macadamian nuts were the perfect 4 am snack!). Beautiful view and sunsets over the ocean. This was our first trip to Hawaii but we'll be back to the Pineapple Inn!

We have stayed at the Pineapple Inn many times and can only say that there is no other place we would rather be on Maui. Every year seems to bring new improvements which add to the value and enjoyment of the property. Every room is beautifilly appointed, fully stocked with supplies so you may enjoy your breakfast on your private... More
