My extended family and I all stayed at the Kamaole Sands for 8 nights in June. We were there for my wedding, and we had a total of 5 different units rented out. My husband and I were in unit 7-209. It was GORGEOUS. Actually, all of us had nice condos because we were super careful when booking. No matter... more

As a tripadvisor faithful, I sometimes put too much weight into traveler reviews. We booked our one week vacation to Maui and decided to get a condo through hotwire. Even though you cannot tell what property you will be given, I have generally found hotwire to be a better risk-reward than booking through orbitz, etc. After learning we would be... more

The grounds are beautiful. The unit was adequate. The staff weas indiffernt. The rules were oppressive. The owner was not forth coming about "check-in" and "Check-out" fees. The staff could not be less helpful or concerned. DO NOT STY HERE. There are much better values on Maui. This place is OK if you want cheap and you are VERY careful... more

Just go back from Maui today and was staying at the Kamaole Sands which we booked through ResortQuest. When we arrived we had a terrible experience with getting into our unit. The wrong lockbox code was provided so there we stood at midnight (which was 4 am our time) with a 1 year old, locked out, and NO ONE had... more

The property is beautiful, but the rooms are so outdated. If we were to see what they had, I would have paid a little more money and stayed at another condo or even considered a hotel in Lahaina. Our unit did not provide "all amenities" as would other condos and it is very out dated. Would not recommend if you... more

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands several times. Views range from none to pretty good depending upon floor and building. Across the street from Kam 3 beach. A very nice beach. Only reason for writing this reviews is to advise potential guests about the air conditioning. In some units the AC is only in living room. The back bedroom can... more

I have 2 children ages 7 & 9 and had decided to stay at this condo instead of a hotel because of the price ($145 a night, kamaaina rate) and the space (818 sq ft). I was a little disappointed at first because the duvet covers and blankets looked dingy/old and the carpet was dirty. I'm always afraid of bed... more

I stayed at the Kamaole Sands back in July with my husband and two children(Ages 7& 10). We stayed in room 6-406. We had a fabulous time.! Sorry to hear that the B.C family did not. No, it is not the Four Seasons. It was a nice, clean, condo with a beautiful view from the balcony( the pool and a... more

We rented through ResortQuest and were very mislead by what we were getting. We did get a more updated Condo 10-417 and we had a nice view of the ocean... We were not told that we had to clean the condo before we left or that they would not supply toliet paper, garbage bags dish soap, bath soap and the... more

Check in was easy front desk friendly and we were up graded from a 1 bedroom studio to a 2 bedroom. Great I thought, "the... more
