Along the road with many inns that range from old, poorly kept apartments to properties that call themselves 'resorts', this was a great find. I cancelled my reservation at a large fluff filled property to stay here.. cheaper and much more personal. this place made my trip to Maui worthwhile. Joe at the front desk took such good care of... more

What a wonderful little hotel with gorgeous views and a lovely, helpful staff. It's in the middle of everything making it convenient to Wailea and Lahaina. The beach in front felt like my private beach! The rooms were well stocked and had everything one could want. I loved the kitchens and BBQ'd outside for several dinners. There is the best... more

Very comfy bed and good amenities If your are thinking of staying here ask for a top floor room as sound travels to the rooms below very loadly eg footsteps etc. Location is good but about 15 to 20 mins... more

My girlfirend and I just spent 5 days at the Maui Sunseeker. We loved the proximity to the lovely beach and easy access to lots of restauraunts. The woman working in the office was straight, but a gay friendly as it gets . She was very knowledgable about the island and the gay-friendly places to go. Although the rooms could... more

We booked our vacation and the hotel in March, not being real sure what we were doing, but knowing we weren't going to pay 600.00 a night for the Wailea Grand. We were uncommonly surprised to get there and find out it was exactly what we wanted - laid back, friendly, close to the water, and comfortable. The staff is... more

This hotel is in a great location, you can walk to town and to the market, bus stop is near by and the ocean is literally across the street and if you have a front unit, you can see it from your door step or a balcony. The staff is very friendly, housekeeping is amazing, room was cleaned daily and... more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had read the reviews before and found them to be absolutely correct. We did utilize the staff for activities and found it to be very helpful and a great value for the money. Take advantage of their assistance and suggestions. more

I had done a great deal of research before booking at the Sunseeker. While we really wanted to support a gay-owned business, we also were aware that gay hotels can be all over the map. We were definitely looking for something that wasn't sleezy, and we were really impressed with this place. The hotel is definitely not a luxury resort,... more
