Visiting from Oahu I was looking for a hotel to relax after an exhilarating journey to the famous summt of Haleakula . From the moment I stepped into the check in office, I felt so welcomed and like I was Coming home from long day of work. All of the staff made sure I had everything I needed. The property has... More

Wow, how wonderful to read!! All of the reviews we receive are distributed to the staff as they are the reason your stay was so enjoyable. This makes everyone sincerely appreciate all they do to make your stay perfect and welcoming. We really work so hard to be sure that our guests are not treated like guests, but instead one... More

I stay at the Sunseeker almost monthly for work. My search for a regular place to stay was initially based on price to satisfy my employer, so I only needed a basic room. Their least expensive room is an incredible bargain, especially for Maui. That it is an LGBT-centric hotel makes staying there a no-brainer for me. The staff are... More

I had a last minute weekend trip to Maui and was trying to decide if I should stay in a fancy Wailea hotel or go for something more modest and affordable. I went with the Sunseeker and I was so glad I did! The property was in great shape, my room was well appointed and the staff were all friendly... More

I had the good fortune to return to the Maui Sunseeker after my first visit earlier in 2011. I had such a great experience with both the hotel and Maui as a destination that I returned. And it didn't disappoint. I hope that many others will select Maui and the Sunseeker for their vacations in the near future. More

I spent a week at the Sunseeker over Christmas and loved every minute. Very personal, welcoming place to arrive at after a long flight from Australia. I loved the location; was easy to get to other parts of the island to explore a little. Though most of my travelling was from the hotel to the beach, which was about 15... More

I stayed here in Sept 2011 and was lucky enough to come back here for a week in early Dec. Michael suggested I book room 321 one of the Jr suites, and as soon as I had my travel dates in hand, I booked it. I would highly recommend this end unit if you are considering a jr suite. Complete... More

My partner and I just came back from a weeklong stay at Sunseeker. We travel extensively, and I cannot remember a time when a hotel staff has been more genuinely helpful and welcoming. Owner Chuck, Robyn, Michael and Joe (with the killer smile) all went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable, and were always... More

Stayed here early Dec 2011; had been looking for a GBLT resort on Maui. Positive points: - Location (across the road from a decent beach) - Clean (suite and grounds are well maintained - small, but attractive garden areas) - Staff (super friendly and obliging) - 1-bedroom/living room suite was newly renovated and perfect for two(+) who want separate sleeping... Spent 5 nights at this boutique hotel. We have stayed here numerous times in the past, but not in the past 2 years. Was surprised at the expansion but it is clearly for the better and a lot of thought has gone into not adversely impacting their guests. The staff suggested a room overlooking the new pool area, which turned... More

Having stayed for a week in the new '600-building penthouse' was more than a great stay. The penthouse has three bedrooms (one big, two smaller, all with king beds) and two baths, big living and dining room, kitchen with everything you need while on vacation and a big balcony overlooking the new pool area and gardens. The unit is a... More
