When we pulled into the driveway, we were enveloped in this sanctuary feeling. The tall trees and flowers were everywhere. We stayed in the Mahina Cottage and loved it. My husband did miss a TV quite a bit, but he took naps every day on the couch, so all was not lost. I took a nap on the hammock on... more

My traveling partner and I stayed in the Lehua Cottage for 3 nights in June 2009. To us it was truly paradise - no phones (cell phones worked though), no alarm clocks, no TV, no radio. This is truly a place to get away from it all. There were shops within 15 minutes for those that need to use their... more

A millionaire's view on a dime, an extremely comfortable vacation home, and a quietude so overwhelming it could drive me nuts I didn't go there until now -- that, in a nutshell, is Moonlight Garden's Lehua cottage. At daytime, occasional muffled car noise from the road 300 feet or so above the large open patio is all you hear, besides... more

We stayed in the Mahina Cottage for 3 nights in April 2009 and were overwhelmed by the spaciousness, cleanliness, amenities and beauty of the place. We greatly enjoyed our walks in the garden and resting on the deck and hammock. Anne provided us warm coats for our excursion to Haleakala, definitely needed, and useful tips on area sights and activities.... more

Stayed in the Lehua Cottage for 2 nights in April. The view was great. The cottage was clean, completely white and could use some updating. The rub: Little do this, not that post-it type notes left by the owners were annoying and unwelcoming: the bathroom (don't flush X items), a portable space heater (don't turn dial past X), and even... more

Important: This place is not close to the beach! Minimum 30 Minute drive to the northern Beaches, to the Southern Beaches 45 Minutes. But: The setting of this place is amazing, it is quiet and peaceful, nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen…. We stayed for 1 week and are sure we will come back – haven’t experienced anything more relaxing!!! more

My boyfriend and I stayed four nights in this beautfiful bed & breakfast in September 2008. We were absolutely overwhelmed with the beauty of the house, surroundings and the views. We saw the most beautiful sunsets. The place is a good starting point to discover Maui. As it is located upcountry at the slopes of Haleakala, the air is fresh.... more

We have stayed three times at Moonlight Garden Maui and it has been Paradise! Secluded but with an overview of the entire island; comfortable, casual, convenient. Cooking and laundry facilities included, fantastic breakfast. If you don't necessarily go to Maui to sit on the beach, there is easy access to Haleakala, Kula (great cowboy town!) and the trip to Hana.... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Moonlight Garden in in late April 2008 and loved it. Our only issue was that we would have loved to have stayed a week. The Mahina Cottage has a separate entrance and a private entry way to the amazing gardens that overlook the sea. The cottage is clean, very comfortable and had more than... more

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days this spring, it was awesome. We were looking to keep the costs down so we could spend our money on activities. Do not stay here if you want to flash your cash and be packed in like sardines in "Hawiian Disneyland" where minions will spritz you with water while you bake... more
