One member of our party is physically disabled. The hotel staff went above and beyond to provide every amenity for his comfort. A second member of our party is nine years old. The on-site activities and friendliness of the staff went a long way toward keeping my daughter happy during our vacation. The warmth of heart at Ka"anapali Beach Hotel... more

I told my kids that this was not the most expensive hotel, but I thought it would be more like our family - comfortable, unpretentious, and entertaining. When we walked in my 10-year-old son said, "Mom, what do you mean not fancy? This place is awesome!" ...and it only got better. We loved all the cultural activities for the kids... more

This hotel has an ideal location for getting around Maui. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The beach out the back of the hotel is ideal for snorkeling. The evening entertainment with Jason in the band is also fantastic. It is a wonderful Hawaiian hotel. They teach you about the history if you want to know it. Otherwise... more

We had the most wonderful time. In several previous visits we always stayed in Kihei, and I was not really eager to be up in the "big hotel resort" area, but the Kaanapali Beach Hotel (KBH) is such a gem it will always be first on my list in the future. In 10 minutes you will understand why it is... more

We stayed at KBH for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon, in a newly renovated room. The grounds are amazing (great gardens and spotlessly clean lawns etc)and the location is perfect. right on the beach, right near Black rock ( a must snorkell spot) and a 10 minute drive from Lahaina. Our check in was smooth, the staff are... more

I have little to add to the previous reviews, which seem to have captured the essence of KBH. We used this hotel as a place to sleep and did not participate in any of the hotel-sponsored activities; we also did not use any of the food & beverage outlets. However, we did participate in the free welcome orientation breakfast, which... more

We really enjoyed our stay here. You can't beat the location on one of Maui's best beaches. This hotel is cheaper than all the others around it. It is not the resort type hotel. Just a nice hotel with great staff and beautiful grounds. They have free activities for adults and children (lei making, hula lessons, etc). Lots of culture... more

The staff is extremely helpful and always positive. The beach is one of the widest on the island and has good snorkeling at black rock just one hotel over. Ask for prescription mask if you wear contacts or glasses well worth it. We saw some sea turtles. The breakfast buffet was fresh and filling we did not need to eat... more

I love the location, close to lahaina, love the pools and the beach. The room was very outdated and old. It was noisy at night due to the luau happening every night. I will not return. more

My wife and I stayed at your hotel last week. This is the third time we have stayed at KBH. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The staff and hotel are excellent. It is very true when they say Ka'anapali Beach Hotel is Maui's most Hawaiian Hotel. Norma and Leonard Swindler more
