If you have a family with children, you're going to love this hotel. There's a slide at the pool and birds & fish in the lobby. If you're a childless couple looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway -- this hotel is not for you. We were so unable to relax, we left mid-stay and went to the Four Seasons in... more

Definitely love the location have stayed here 4 times over the years. However really it comes down to the room you get. The newer tower is the Ocean Tower and the rooms are significantly larger (I'd approximate by 30%) over the older tower. FYI: The older tower is the building with the main entrance. Ocean view rooms are better in... more

We booked our trip through Expedia and were expecting a Premium Deluxe Room with ocean view. We expected to be over the pool area in the Beach Tower but were surprised to get room 890 at the end of the building which had a fabulous full view of the beach from the spacious and very private lanai. The room was... more

We just got back today from a one week stay at the Westin Resort. $420 a day room in addition to a daily State tax, Resort tax, Excise tax, and misc. taxes brought it to $500 a day wihtout any room charges. This is called the 'Standard Room'. Here are the lows: - Remote control didn't work...no big deal...they replaced... more

We stayed in room 588 in the Beach Tower June 12 - 26. We had a wonderful view of the pool and the ocean. The room was a luxury suite with a hudge bathroom and a wonderful hot tub inside. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a suite if you are staying for a week or longer. We saw a... more

This review is geared for SPG members w/young children. I booked the Kanaapali Sheraton on pts. but when checking in I was stuck w/a garden view for my full stay of six nites. I should've spent xtra pts for an ocean view (prefer Bldg 3). This hotel is never sold out the week after school gets out mid-June, but they... more

First off we travelled here on a promotional rate so got the room for peanuts, so my value 5* is based on what I payed not the published rate. The lobby area of the hotel, pools and bar area are lovely. The area is spotlessly clean, service excellent and the staff were all very friendly. We go on holiday to... more

Just returned from a 7 night stay at the Westin Maui. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, but generally found it convenient for a short trip. Our room was passably clean. It could probably use a real deep scrub, and it seemed like some surfaces weren't wiped down since the last guest - I swear... more

Great Amenties from top to bottom here. Yes, the rooms are small, but views are great from any room. The pool area is fantastic. The food was very good, but expensive. So is the rest of Maui. Good for familes with kids. They had a kids camp that a lot parents were raving about. Parking there is limited at night.... more

We spent six nights at this Westin and it was fabulous. Prior to going, I read the reviews about the problem with getting chairs in the pool area; however, we never once had a problem. The staff by the pool and inside the hotel could not have been nicer. The pools/grounds were beautiful, as was the view rom the beach.... more
